The Last of Us has managed to snag five best in show awards from the Game Critic Awards at E3 2012. The critics who come from a variety of media outlets which includes the likes of GameSpot, IGN, Game Trailers and other high profile gaming websites awarded Naughty Dog’s upcoming third person adventure with the top spot in multiple categories.
Naughty Dog won Best Original Game, Best Console Game, Best Action/Adventure Game, Special Commendation for Sound, and Best in Show for The Last of Us. The competition was pretty stiff this year. Ubisoft had two high profile titles in the running for Game of the Show with Assassin’s Creed III and Watch Dogs. Crystal Dynamics’ Tomb Raider, 343i’s Halo 4, and Bethesda’s Dishonored were all in the running for game of the show.
