Ultimate PS4 Black Friday 2019 Deals Guide

Recommended Videos

Black Friday is almost here, but tons of PlayStation 4 deals are already live across most major retailers. Whether you’ve missed out on some of the year’s biggest games like Control or Mortal Kombat 11 or if you’re looking to pick up a PS4 for the first time, there’s sure to be a deal for you somewhere. Games, console bundles, and PlayStation Plus memberships are discounted everywhere, and it can be difficult to track down the best deals for what you’re looking for, so here are all the best PlayStation 4 Black Friday deals this year.

PS4/PS4 Pro Bundles

Your best bet for picking up a PS4 this Black Friday is without a doubt the Only on PlayStation bundle. This bundle includes a PS4 Slim with God of War, The Last of Us Remastered, and Horizon Zero Dawn Complete Edition for only $199. Don’t expect this bundle to last very long. Last year, the PS4 Slim was bundled with Spider-Man and sold out within a few days.

If none of those games interest you, you can always snag a PS4 Pro bundled with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare for $299. Standard PlayStation 4 Pro prices are being slashed to $299 for Black Friday, but it wouldn’t hurt to grab the bundle to get an extra game. $299 is the cheapest the Pro has ever been, and throwing in one of the year’s biggest games makes the value all the better. If you’ve been in the market for a Pro, now is the best time to get one. The Limited Edition Death Stranding PS4 Pro is also down to $299, but don’t expect that deal to last too long.

Games

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is already down to $38 at Walmart despite coming out only a month ago. Buying the game from Walmart will also net you 3 hours of double XP in multiplayer, which isn’t much, but it’s still something. Marvel’s Spider-Man Game of the Year Edition is only $15 too, so if you haven’t played that game yet, there’s pretty much no excuse now. Best Buy has God of War for $10, and Shenmue 3 is just $35 even though it hasn’t even been out a full week.

Here are some other notable deals on PS4 games this year:

PSVR-Bundle

PlayStation VR

PlayStation VR is the cheapest it’s ever been, and they’re practically giving games away in some of these bundles. For $299, the PlayStation VR Five Game Mega Pack Bundle includes five of the best games you can find for the platform, including Skyrim VR, Resident Evil 7, and Astro Bot Rescue Mission. That bundle doesn’t include Move controllers though, so you’ll have to play games with a normal DualShock 4. If you want Move controllers, you can pick up a PlayStation VR bundled with Blood and Truth and Everybody’s Golf for $249. There’s also a PlayStation VR bundle with Borderlands 2 and Beat Saber for the same price if you’d rather get different games.

If you’re an active PlayStation Plus member, you get 50% off the following PlayStation VR games during PlayStation’s Black Friday sale:

PlayStation Plus and Accessories

PlayStation Plus 12-Month Memberships are down to $44.99 just about everywhere. These codes stack, so you can add an entire year onto your existing membership at a discounted price if you’re interested. Green Man Gaming has 12-Month Memberships for $42.47, which is a few dollars cheaper than everywhere else.

All DualShock 4 controllers are marked down to $39.99, so if you’re looking to pick up a new color like Electric Purple or Midnight Blue, now’s your chance. For those of you in the market for a new headset, the PlayStation Gold Wireless Headset is only $69 on Amazon and it comes in either black, white, or rose gold. The black and white variants come bundled with the Neo Versa Bundle for Fortnite, which includes a few cosmetic items as well as 2,000 V-Bucks.
