If you’re making a trip across the world or just a trip around the block during Pokemon GO Fest, you’ll find a whole new set of shiny Pokemon to try to get your hands on. If this is the first time you’ve ever experienced GO Fest, you’re in for a wild ride full of fun and adventure, be it if you’re a paying player, or coming along for the ride for free.
While there are no real advantages to a shiny Pokemon, you’ll still find that players will go out of their way to get their hands on these special monsters. Offering either new shades or completely different color pallets, you’ll find a handful of Pokemon in each different part of the environment that can be captured as one of these unique variants. Let’s take a look and see who you’ll find in the Tundra!
Shiny Pokemon During GO Fest – Tundra Habitat
If you’re finding yourself in the chilled Tundra environments during GO Fest, you’ll have a great selection of Pokemon to add to your Pokedex. While there are a large number of Pokemon available in the game, there are only certain ones that happen to have shiny variants, with more being added quite often. If you’re looking to get your hands on your first shiny, keep an eye out for these monsters on your adventure.
Shiny Pokemon – Tundra
- Costumed Pikachu (Gracidea Costume)
- Omanyte
- Swinub
- Wingull
- Meditite
- Wailmer
- Spheal
- Piplup
- Cubchoo
- Galarian Darumaka
If you are a casual player, you may not have come across a shiny in your journey. There are still quite a few players that haven’t, since the odds to finally find one are normally 1 in 500, but with these special events, the chances to come across a shiny are lowered quite a bit, up to 1 in 96 encounters. This means, with the enhanced spawn rates, players should finally be able to add a shiny Pokemon to their collection if they haven’t had the chance to just yet.
If you’re thinking about attending a Pokemon GO Fest event in person, make sure that you’re prepared for a day full of fun and excitement. You’ll also need to make sure that your digital avatar is as ready as possible, so make sure that you’re getting as many items as you can to make sure that you’ll be able to partake in the fun all day long. For those that have purchased a GO Fest ticket, you’ll also have a chance to get your hands on the newest Legendary added into the game, so if you haven’t purchased a ticket yet, you still have a little bit of time!
Pokemon GO is available now on mobile devices.
