Some exciting news for DC fans. A new teaser or trailer for Batman vs Superman could be released before the end of the year.

Batman vs Superman’s producer, Charles Roven, was interviewed by Collider this week where he had some interesting new comments about the movie.

When asked if we are to see some new footage from the movie, Roven said “you’re going to be seeing something very soon“. He then was more specific and said something will be shown before the end of this year.

We have only seen two trailers from the movie so far. The first one came in April while the popular second trailer was released in July in time for Comic Con.

Hopefully Warner Bros. follows suit with Star Wars 7: The Force Awakens and doesn’t show too much footage early on. We do know the studio is still hiding something in terms of a second villain. Everyone is speculating Doomsday must be in the movie in some shape or form even though he has yet to be officially announced yet.

Roven also mentioned there could be an extended cut for the film down the road. He knows fans won’t be getting a four hour version of the film, but they may get a version that will be slightly less longer than that. The theatrical cut for the film is estimated to be around 2 and a half hours long.
