Mortal Kombat creator Ed Boon may have hinted another ninja character will be appearing in Mortal Kombat X.
Ed Boon responded to a fan question on Twitter if there will be a new ninja included in Mortal Kombat X. He answered the fan question simply by saying “define new“. This could mean a kind of new ninja appears in Mortal Kombat X, but he has appeared in another type of Mortal Kombat video game.
Many fans speculated that Ed Boon’s tweet was about the character of “Tremor”. He is a ninja with a brown outfit. His first appearance was in Mortal Kombat: Special Forces. Mortal Kombat: Special Forces was an old PSOne game released back in the year 2000. It was a 3D beat-em-up that starred Jax. Tremor appeared as one of the bosses for that game.
Ed Boon usually has a history of teasing fans, but hopefully Tremor is in Mortal Kombat X. He looks like a character that will fit well in the new game.
The Mortal Kombat series as a whole has no shortage of ninjas in the game. Throughout the years we’ve had Reptile, Ermac, Rain, Noob Saibot and Smoke just to name a few.
The only ninjas confirmed for Mortal Kombat X so far have been Scorpion and Sub-Zero.
