Batman: The Enemy Within will come to a close on March 27th according to a new announcement from Telltale Games. Batman: The Enemy Within – Episode 5 “Same Stitch” will hit all platforms on the newly announced release date, bringing the second season to its highly anticipated conclusion. This episode will almost certainly focus in on John Doe, or The Joker as he’s called in almost all other Batman media.

Here’s the official description for Episode 5: “What would you choose: a friend whose unhinged approach to justice turns your allies against you, or a sworn enemy who will stop at nothing to see you suffer as your city burns? Based on the relationship you’ve built with John Doe, you’ll see one of two very different stories play out. So what’ll it be, Bruce: friend…or foe?”

Telltale has taken a very unique look at the world and characters of DC’s seminal comic series. The first season saw Batman’s history turned on its head, with only a cameo appearance from his main foe. This second season has shifted gear, presenting Batman with a very worthy threat, while The Joker forms his personality along the way. Player’s choices have also played a role in shaping the character, so it will be interesting to see how this all comes together for this finale.
