It might be over two years ago that Man of Steel came out in cinemas in the real world, but in Batman vs Superman it has only been 18 months.

In a new article from Total Film magazine (via ComicBookMovie), it is revealed that Batman vs Superman takes place 18 months after the events of Man of Steel. The article also explains a little more about the prologue in the film as well.

The prologue will show us how Bruce Wayne fits in the story. As we all saw in the Comic Con trailer, Bruce Wayne was in Metropolis during Man of Steel as Superman was fighting Zod. One of Wayne’s buildings falls and this makes him angry.

Ben Affleck said Wayne now has atremendous amount of rage for Superman“.  Alfred on the other hand is a little scared that Wayne is going after Superman. After all, Batman has no super powers whatsoever.

Henry Cavill also gave his thoughts on Wayne’s bitterness in the new movie. Wayne tries his best to save everyone in during the destruction but fails. Cavill explains that Wayne is an “angry person who fears what Superman may do“. He is paranoid on what Superman might do if he were to become evil.
