Bioshock Infinite May Not Be Coming to the Wii U

Despite having shown Bioshock Infinite prominently at it's E3 2011 press conference, Nintendo doesn't have a commitment from Irrational Games to develop anything on the next generation console. Ken Levine who made the comments recently, didn't rule out the possibility of working on the console in the future, but at this point, nothing is set in stone for the developer that is working on the next Bioshock game.

Despite having shown Bioshock Infinite prominently at it’s E3 2011 press conference, Nintendo doesn’t have a committment from Irrational Games to develop anything on the next generation console.  Ken Levine who made the comments recently, didn’t rule out the possibility of working on the console in the future, but at this point, nothing is set in stone for the developer that is working on the next Bioshock game.

“Just to be clear, there are no plans”, Levine said in a recent interview.  “I’m not saying that it can’t happen, but we have no plans to do any games for that platform”.  We’re now getting to a place with Vita and what Nintendo’s doing where that’s not neccesarily going to be the case, where you can play full-on hardcore games in bed with the lights out while your wife’s asleep.  I like that alot.  That means alot to me.”
