With Treyarch having gotten their single and multi-player reveals out of the way for Black Ops 2, that leaves the Call of Duty newswire primed for a Zombies Mode announcement. The developer has made no secrets about the return of their popular mode, promising it to be bigger and better than ever before.
“Something is coming…”,says Treyarch
Earlier today, the official Black Ops 2 Twitter feed released a simple tweet that explained “Something’s coming…..” followed by what appears to be a hand print on a bloodstained door. In other words, Treyarch is readying a full reveal of Black Ops II Zombies mode in the coming days.
From what we’ve gathered so far, Black Ops 2 Zombies mode will have a more competitive nature, offering the ability to play four vs. four with the objective of the new mode being to outlast another team of survivors. With PAX West just around the corner, is Treyarch preparing a big zombies reveal during the show? We’ll have to wait and see, but it appears that first official details about the popular mode will be arriving shortly.
Call of Duty: Black Ops II is centered around a world of future warfare. A direct sequel to the 2010 release, Call of Duty: Black Ops, and features returning Black Ops characters Sgt. Frank Woods and Agent Alex Mason, joined by a new cast of characters. Black Ops 2 is set to arrive on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC on November 13th, 2012.
