Call of Duty: Black Ops Map Pack “First Strike” Feb 1st

Four new maps were announced for Call of Duty Black Ops multiplayer:  “Berlin Wall”, “Stadium”, “Kowloon”, and “Discovery” as well as a new zombie map “Ascension”.

Xbox spokesman, Major Nelson, announced details of the first map pack on the Major Nelson podcast.  “First Strike” will be released only on Xbox Live February 1st, as timed exclusive content. After a month, the PlayStation 3 and PC will then have the opportunity to buy the content as well.

First Strike contains 5 incredibly diverse maps spanning the globe; featuring 4 new multiplayer maps and a new Zombie experience.

“Berlin Wall” features combat on both sides of the imposing wall; “Discovery” is a desolate, frozen German outpost in Antarctica; in “Kowloon”, battle in the rain along the rooftops of a towering Chinese sprawl; “Stadium” is an intense locale with a pro hockey arena backdrop; and in “Ascension”, fight zombies in a Soviet launch facility.

The content will be priced at the same “reasonable”  1200 Microsoft points, or fifteen Washingtons.
