Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 continues to notch up impressive sales in the UK. It has stayed number one for three consecutive weeks now.
As reported by GFK Chart Track UK, Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 sales jumped a whopping 40 percent compared to last week. It’s safe to say many UK gamers got the popular FPS for Christmas this year.
Star Wars 7: The Force Awakens came out and broke box office records the world over. However, Star Wars Battlefront isn’t lighting up the charts in the same fashion.
Star Wars Battlefront had to bow down to Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 again for a second consecutive week. The game came in second, and sales increased by 16 percent. One has to wonder if sales would have been higher if actual Force Awakens content was added to the game…
FIFA 16 again took the third spot. Sales of that game jumped up a healthy 20 percent compared to the prior week. FIFA 16 is likely to stay in the charts for the majority of 2016 up until FIFA 17 drops.
Fallout 4 is fourth and its sales jumped up thanks to Christmas too. Sales were up 13 percent. Rounding out the top five is Grand Theft Auto V.
It will be interesting to see which game can oust Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 in the top position.
