Call of Duty: Elite Fully Operational by December 1st

If you’ve been trying to access Call of Duty: Elite over the last week or so, you’ve probably run into your fair share of problems.  The launch of the premium service that accompanied the worldwide launch of Call of Duty:  Modern Warfare 3 hit a few snags at launch, as an unprecedented number of users hit the Activision servers.

Activision has made a statement about the when they expect to have the service running at full power, Daniel Suarez said in a recent interview.

“They kind of need to bear with us while we bring this all back up, but for us it’s literally give us those couple weeks, we’re giving those to you for free.  And come December 1, the goal is that we’ll have everything up and running.”

Activision recently announced that they would also be giving premium members an extra month of service with Call of Duty: Elite to make up for the bungled launch.
