DC Universe Can Now Be Downloaded For Free on PSN

by | @AttackFanboy | on November 2, 2011

DC Universe Online is now free to play on PSN

Earlier this year Sony and Warner Brothers partnered up to bring the DC licensed superheros to the PlayStation 3 and PC. As it turns out, the game is now switching to a free to play model.

What this means is, if you fire up your PlayStation 3 and head to the PlayStation Store, you can download the core game for free. If you like it, Sony has plenty of options available to enhance the DCUO experience.

Reports are indicating that the update process that occurs before you actually log-in are excruciatingly long, but I suppose its worth a shot being that it’s free and all.
