Bungie has done a great job since the launch of Destiny at providing gamers with plenty of content throughout the year, even in between DLC or expansions. The next big update for the game is coming in what they are calling the April update, which they have now shed some more light on in their first livestream about said update.

Bungie teased the April update last week, with some vague features that would be coming. They did reveal then that they would be a weekly livestream leading up to the update’s release, which they held yesterday on the official Bungie Twitch channel.

Within this livestream, they revealed a ton of changes that will be coming, which have been collected by a poster on NeoGAF at the time of the stream.

The previous tease said that the Light Level would be getting a boost in Destiny, which the stream has confirmed to be increased from 320 to 335. A new quest was revealed that is called Pretender to the Throne, as well as the PlayStation exclusive Petra quest. There will also be a new PoE challenge known as the Challenge of the Elders, which is recommended for level 42 players.

There are other details that were revealed in the livestream as well that you can read about in the compilation post on NeoGAF, but more is set to be announced and shown off across the next two weeks leading up to the release of the Destiny April update on April 12.
