Worldwide localization for Dragon Ball Super is starting to take shape very soon as the French dub will be recording in just a few day’s time.
French voice actor, Eric Legrand, announced on Facebook: “Good morning people! So this is it, this time it’s official, we will begin the dubbing of db super in a few days.
But, lemon pledge! Not stalking me no questions about who’s gonna do what, what we’re gonna say, how this thing is gonna be translated, etc. I don’t know anything (except that we’ll all be there) and won’t say nothing more. Here here. Thank you for your attention“.
Mr Legrand is the voice of Vegeta for the French dub and it appears it will retain the usual cast of actors as he mentioned “we’ll all be there”. The French dub for Dragon Ball Super is expected to air later this year.
Toei Animation is still negotiating on when it will air and what channel it will be on. France will be one of the first countries outside of Asia to officially air Dragon Ball Super on TV. A North American dub from Funimation is yet to be announced at this stage.
