Toei Animation today has announced the artists that will be responsible for the opening and ending theme songs for Dragon Ball Super.

As reported by Saiyan Island, Dragon Ball Super’s opening theme song will be called “Chozetsu Dynamic!”. Chozetsu in Japanese translates to transcendence. The song will be performed by Kazuya Yoshi who is a Japanese singer/songwriter. This person has not been involved in any previous Dragon Ball Z theme songs. His genre is usually rock music, so expect a more heavy opening.

Dragon Ball Super will also have an ending theme song that will differ from the opening theme. This song will be called “Hello Hello Hello” and will be performed by a band called “Good Morning America”. This band is also from the rock musical genre. They previously provided an ending theme to Dragon Ball Z Kai.

Unfortunately, both songs from Dragon Ball Super are not available to listen to yet. They are likely going to debut the songs when the series airs in Japan this June. It’s being noted the songs will be available to purchase as singles as early as this August.

Dragon Ball Z’s themes have been loved by fans around the world. It will be interesting to see if Dragon Ball Super’s theme songs have the same type of impact to DBZ fans worldwide.
