Previously we didn’t even know the North American title of Dragon Quest Heroes let alone the release date, but we knew that Square Enix were going to be bringing it to North America at some point. Now it appears that Best Buy has spilled the beans on the whole thing.

Dragon Quest Heroes marketing materials seem to have leaked online via an image Twitter user Wario64 posted. The image (below) shows a pop up display which shows off the characters in the game along with the full title; Dragon Quest Heroes: The World Tree’s Woe and the Blight Below. The image also gives away the release date to be October 13th, 2015.

It seems that an announcement like this would have likely been made at E3 2015 during Square-Enix’s conference, but it seemed to have made it’s way to retailers early.

Further diving into the leak leads us to Best Buy listing for the game reveals that the release date infact checks out with the listed one that they have for the Dragon Quest Heroes. This appears to have ruined a nice surprise for Dragon Quest fans come E3. Another interesting fact is that there is no logo for PlayStation 3 since it released on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 in Japan. It seems that the western release might be PlayStation 4 only.

For those who don’t know, Dragon Quest Heroes is Dynasty Warriors styled game, where players will face large groups of enemies, but do so with the characrters familiar to Dragon Quest fans. It’s basically a Dragon Quest verison of Hyrule Warriors and exclusive to PlayStation for lack of a better comparison. Just like the two aformentioned titles, Dragon Quest Heroes is being developed by Omega Force.

Dragon Quest Heroes: The World Tree’s Woe and the Blight Below is set to release on October 13th, 2015 on PlayStation 4 in North America.
