Evolution Studios has now released update patch 1.06 for Driveclub which addresses a severe bug that came with 1.05.
Patch update 1.05 was not a kind one for some Driveclub gamers. Some people found themselves seeing the ugly CE-34878-0 Crash Bug when booting up the game. This is not what Evolution Studios needed with the online servers being as bad as they have been since launch.
Not to mention the only way to rectify the crash was to delete the Driveclub save file. This was not a good thing to do either as people would have lost all of their progress. Driveclub is a tough game so it’s not easy to go back and earn everything all over again.
The patch note for update 1.06 in Driveclub reads like this: “Fixes a crash bug related to loading saved data with a full event history.”
If you found yourself having trouble with patch 1.05, you should download patch 1.06 as soon as possible so your Driveclub progress will be okay.
Hopefully things work out for Evolution Studios as Driveclub has had one of the roughest launches in recent video game history. They are still working around the clock to fix the servers. Until then, players will still have to wait for their promised PS Plus edition.
