Electronic Arts have been stripped of their ‘worst company in America’ title by Time Warner Cable in The Consumerist’s annual voting contest.
EA were the previous holders of this less than prestigious title for the past two years, but recently seem to have won over some consumers as they narrowly evaded further detrimental spotlight placement thanks to Time Warner Cable; who received 51.2% of the votes to EA’s 48.8%.
The Consumerist cited the launch of Battlefield 4 as one of the factors for the companies nomination this time around, bizarrely alongside the launch of Titanfall. This claim seems to lack a bit of substance, however, what with Titanfall’s success in individual and bundle sales.
Do you believe that EA deserve this kind of criticism? Leave a comment below with your thoughts!
