Fallout 4 finally had its grand reveal last week ahead of Bethesda’s first ever E3 conference. The conference certainly did not disappoint, which concluded with a large portion focusing on Fallout 4. Near the end of the section, Bethesda revealed the game’s collector’s edition and it is easily one of the best ever.
Most collector’s editions out there offer something like a collectible statue or other interesting display piece for that respective series. Fallout 4 is taking it many steps further by providing fans with something that is not only awesome looking, but can be incredibly useful.
For anyone that has played Fallout, you know about the Pip-Boy, which is the giant smart device that the in-game character has upon his or her arm. The Fallout 4 Pip-Boy Edition comes with one of these devices that you can actually wear, though it doesn’t actually have a digital screen.
Instead, you just place your cell phone in the area where the screen will be and you can use the game’s second screen app that will be available upon release. The app will luckily be available on both iOS and Android at launch, unlike the Fallout Shelter game that is iOS only for now.
No price was given for the Fallout 4 Pip-Boy Edition, but you can count on it being quite expensive when it releases on November 10, 2015.
