Bethesda held their first annual E3 conference earlier tonight and gave Fallout 4 the royal treatment, but that was not the only Fallout title to get announced tonight. Near the end of the show, we also learned of a game known as Fallout Shelter only for iOS. Worry not though Android users, as it has been revealed that it will indeed come to the Android platform in the future.

The iOS and Android platforms are the two titans of the mobile industry and while many apps and games releases across both, there are many that are also exclusive. During the show it was revealed that Fallout Shelter would be coming to iOS with no mention of Android. This was incredibly strange considering it was revealed that the Fallout 4 companion app would be coming to both.

This quickly led to much outrage over the internet as Android users were angered that they could not play the game. The version for iOS in fact was available as soon as the show ended tonight, but luckily Bethesda’s Pete Hines quickly went to his Twitter to give Android users some relief.

He used his Twitter to explain that iTunes was taking a little bit of time to update and the app would be up shortly, but the most important part was that information on Fallout Shelter on Android would be coming in the future.

This doesn’t give any information at all, but it does seem to show that the game will eventually make its way to such a large a platform as Android. Hopefully the wait will not be too long at least to give fans something to keep themselves busy until the release of Fallout 4 in November.
