Final Fantasy 15 only launched late last month, but for those who intend on picking it up who haven’t yet can capitalize on a great deal today. Amazon has reduced the game’s price to just $35, knocking $25 off of the standard price just weeks after it launched. This offer will only be available for a limited time, however, so act on this one as soon as possible.
This is also the day one edition of the game, which comes with the Masamune weapon DLC along with the full game. This offer is good for both the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of the game, which you can check out by clicking here and here. There are no changes in price for the deluxe or premium editions of the game, which both remain over $80.
Square Enix recently revealed that they will be hosting a Final Fantasy 30th anniversary event next year, which is apparently going to be a year-long event. The “Opening Ceremony” will kick off next month, but apart from featuring special guests we still have very few details regarding what will actually be happening at the event.
Next year will also be a big year for Final Fantasy 7, which is set to celebrate its 20th anniversary. Despite Final Fantasy 15 just coming out, Square Enix is hard at work on the long-awaited Final Fantasy 7 remake. While we still don’t know when we can expect this game to come out, it seems likely that we’ll be getting more information around the game’s 20th anniversary. We do know that the game will be released episodically, however, though it remains to be seen how many parts it ends up being.
Final Fantasy 15 is available now for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The game has been well-received and has sold very well so far, shipping a record-breaking 5 million copies at launch.
