Square Enix has now confirmed that you can listen to both English and Japanese audio for Final Fantasy Type-0 HD.

Final Fantasy Type-0 was originally released for the PSP in Japan only. It only had Japanese audio and subtitles and a Western release was never commissioned. Even a fan translation was never allowed by Square Enix. This is mainly because they were working on Final Fantasy Type-0 HD which fans didn’t know at the time until this year.

It’s great to know you can listen to both English and Japanese voices for Final Fantasy Type-0 HD. Dual audio has always been welcomed by fans that might not like the English voices. Sometimes the American voice actors can sound bad. Not all the time, but it happens in some games.

In terms of subtitles, Final Fantasy Type-0 HD will have English, French and Spanish. Thankfully Square Enix decided to release the game eventually outside of Japan as many fans missed out on the game the first time around. This re-release on PS4 and Xbox One promises to be awesome.

Final Fantasy Type-0 releases March 17th in North America and March 20th in Europe. The game comes shipped with a demo code for Final Fantasy XV.
