Ultra Street Fighter IV fans have had issues with the game since it released earlier this week on PlayStation 4. Infact, so many issues have occured that it has not only been chastised by fans, but also has been pulled from several upcoming tournaments. Thankfully though it looks like a fix is coming sooner, rather than later for the game.
Gio Corsi, Director of Third Party Production & Developer Relations at PlayStation took to Twitter yesterday evening and announced that a patch for the fighting game is going to be submitted today for certification and release for PlayStation 4. No word on how long it would take or what changes are going to be included in the upcoming patch, but Corsi promised to continue to update fans as they test the patch.
“#USFIV #PS4 update: first patch being submitted tomorrow, will test and update you all with improvements. Thanks for all the support!”
It’s great to see PlayStation and Capcom on top of the situation and working to satisfy the many loyal fans who went out and picked the game up. Hopefully, Ultra Street Fighter IV will be up and running in good condition in-time for EVO 2015 which is just a short wait away.
