Little has been spoken about the highly anticipated upcoming motion picture based on the hugely popular Blizzard Entertainment, World Of Warcraft franchise. Fans now have their first look at the upcoming Legendary Pictures produced, Warcraft.

Earlier today Wired revealed the first image of Orgrim, the warchief in the upcoming Warcraft movie due out next summer. Orgrim as you can see above is highly detailed for a CG character and comes from the same folks who worked on the Hulk for Avengers: Age Of Ultron, Industrial Light & Magic. The warchief Orgrim Doomhammer will be portrayed by Robert Krazinsky (Pacific Rim) in Warcraft. The director, Duncan Jones (Source Code) cast Krazinsky as they were looking for a certain kind of actor. “We were looking for someone who would be able to perform the gruffness, the humor, and the toughness of this character” It seems that they have found what they were looking for in Krazinsky.

When speaking about the CGI that was utilized to create Orgrim, Jones had this to say; “We’ve gone beyond the point where these are just creatures in movies, we now have the technology and the ability to make new characters entirely.”

Warcraft is set to release June 16th, 2016.
