Forza Horizon 5 is one of the big console and next-gen exclusives for Xbox, and it looks like the game will be out next month. The game is slated to launch on November 9 this year and will feature an open-world map set in Mexico.
Now, in a recent community blog post, Playground Games have affirmed that Forza Horizon 5 has gone gold and shared the in-game tracklist as well. For the uninitiated, in gaming terminology going gold means that the game has entered the phase in development where discs can now be created for the physical copies of the game.
However, this does not guarantee that the game cannot be delayed further, but it gives the players a sense of surety about its development. With less than a month left for the release, Forza Horizon 5 going gold is a good indication for both Xbox and the fans of the franchise. The developers have even released the in-game soundtracks that you will be enjoying as you drive through the beautiful landscape of Mexico in Forza Horizon 5.
Music has been at the core of the Forza Horizon franchise, and the upcoming game looks to continue that tradition. The developers have even “partnered closely” with the regional Spanish artists and will be bringing their music to Forza Horizon 5 as well. Playground Games have joined hands with artists like Sotomayor, Urbandawn, Plague Vendor, and Metrik to produce original songs for the game’s opening drive and Expeditions.
Here are some of the tracks you will be listening to in the game:
- “El Punto Final” by Centavrvs
- “Weekends” by Classixx, Local Natives
- “Afrika” by Clubz
- “Cool Up” by De Lux
- “Suéltame, Bogotá” by Diamante Eléctrico
- “Levitating” by Dua Lipa
- “Heat Waves – Shakur Ahmad Remix” by Glass Animals, Shakur Ahmad
- “All I Want” by Kid Moxie, LUXURY
- “The Valley Of The Pagans (ft. Beck)” by Gorillaz
You can check out the complete list of all the songs by visiting the blog post. Forza Horizon 5 will bring some new things to the table this time around, like Horizon Arcade. The Horizon Arcade will comprise of a series of mini-multiplayer games scattered across the map for players to take part in. There’s even a multiplayer game called “Piñata pop,” where piñatas will be dropped by Horizon Festival’s cargo plane. It will be interesting to see how all of these new additions resonate with players and fans.
Forza Horizon 5 will release November 9 on Xbox Series X|S and PC and will be available on day one on Xbox Game Pass.
