Last week, Scott Cawthon discussed the future of the Five Nights at Freddy’s franchise, including the possibility of more games, console ports and updates to the latest game in the series, Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria Simulator. Some of the ideas that Cawthon had for updates were an Endless Tycoon Mode and a Custom Night Mode and threw it out to the community to see which update should come first. Apparently, the community has spoken, as it was recently confirmed that Cawthon is working on a Custom Night Mode for the game.

This weekend, Cawthon updated his previous Steam post, stating that based on the community’s response, he decided to start working on a Custom Night Mode for Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria Simulator. He also stated that this doesn’t mean that an Endless Tycoon Mode won’t also happen sometime in the future, but for now, he encourages fans to check on his website over the coming months to keep up with the growing Custom Night roster.

As of today (February 19), the initial roster was revealed on the site and includes the characters Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, Foxy, Toy Freddy, Toy Bonnie, Toy Chica, Mangle, Balloon Boy, JJ, FNaF 3 Springtrap, Nightmare Freddy, Nightmare Mangle, Jack-o-Chica, Freddles, Nightmare Fredbear, Endo-01, FNaF:SL Baby, Ballora and Ennard, as well as twenty empty spaces. Cawthon also made a new post on Steam asking fans what obscure characters they’d like to see in the Custom Night Mode.
