The first official photo has been released for the upcoming Gal Gadot Wonder Woman solo movie hitting cinemas in 2017.
Gal Gadot herself posted the photo on her official Twitter account. She said: “Almost 75 years in the making… #WonderWoman is underway.”.
Gal Gadot stars as Diana Prince in the Wonder Woman solo movie. The only other official cast member involved is Chris Pine who plays Steve Trevor who is the love interest.
Other cast members might include the likes of Nicole Kidman, Eva Green and Sean Bean. The latter two have been eyed as villains as they might play Circe and Ares respectively.
Nicole Kidman on the other hand is said to be an Amazonian warrior, although her casting has not been officially announced by Warner Bros. just yet as well.
It’s said the Gal Gadot Wonder Woman solo movie will be an origin story. It is set to take place before the events of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.
The movie is historic because this will be the first time the character gets her own movie. The only screen time Wonder Woman had in the mainstream was the old popular ’70s TV show starring Lynda Carter.
