Gamestop has more GameCube Adapters in stock, although it’s now part of a new bundle that you have to buy.
Just before Christmas, Gamestop was selling the GameCube Adapter as a bundle that came with four GameCube controllers. This bundle was quite expensive since it went for $139.95. This was quite steep since the adapter itself is only $19.99. This bundle sold out pretty quickly shortly after going on sale.
Gamestop has now listed a new GameCube Adapter bundle on its official website. This bundle comes with only two GameCube controllers this time around and costs a more reasonable $79.99.
As of time of writing, stock is still available at Gamestop for this new GameCube Adapter bundle. If you don’t want to miss out on this, you better visit the Gamestop website ASAP to avoid missing out.
The GameCube Adapter for the Wii U has huge demand thanks to the release of Super Smash Bros. The adapter sold out quickly across many retailers all around the world. People had to resort to eBay to get them, where prices increased to insane levels.
It’s a bit cunning that Gamestop isn’t selling the GameCube Adapters separately. If you are desperate for one, spending $79.99 on the bundle that includes two extra controllers isn’t too bad.
