Gears of War 4 is set to be getting its first batch of new maps next month, and if you’re a season pass holder you’ll be getting them as soon as the month begins. Developer The Coalition has revealed that two new maps will be available for season pass holders on November 1st, and everyone else can check them out on November 8th.
The following are the two maps and their provided descriptions:
Checkout – Revisit the iconic supermarket in Cole’s hometown of Hanover 25 years after the events of Gears of War 3 in this Legacy Map. Much like the rest of Sera, nature is reclaiming whatever it can following the Locust Wars, but that hasn’t slowed the fast, furious and frenetic combat that takes place between the checkout lanes and the electronics department.
Drydock –Â Transported from a COG ship building facility to a ship breaking scrapyard on a Seran mudflat, this fan favorite returns with a vengeance to Gears of War 4 Versus Multiplayer and Horde modes.
Gears of War 4 is available on Xbox One and PC. You can see the Checkout map in action by clicking right here and the Drydock map by clicking right here.
