President Donald Trump went after late-night comedian Jimmy Kimmel in an angry Truth Social post. The 79-year-old president asked why ABC still has Kimmel on television, saying he has no talent and his ratings are terrible.
According to The Daily Beast, Trump posted his message right after Kimmel’s Wednesday night show, where the host cracked jokes about Trump and the Epstein files that are supposed to come out soon. The president went on social media to complain about the comedian and said the network and TV companies need to do something about it.
He wrote: “Why does ABC Fake News keep Jimmy Kimmel, a man with NO TALENT and VERY POOR TELEVISION RATINGS, on the air? Why do the TV Syndicates put up with it? Also, totally biased coverage. Get the bum off the air!!!”

Trump and Kimmel have been fighting like this for months. This angry post is just the latest round in their ongoing battle. Kimmel keeps making fun of Trump on his show, and Trump keeps firing back with mad posts on social media.
During Wednesday’s show, Kimmel talked about the Epstein files using weather language. He said they’re watching Hurricane Epstein right now and it’s a category 5 that will hit land very soon. He also made a joke about Trump and bills, saying Trump usually declares bankruptcy and doesn’t pay when he gets a bill.
Kimmel made other jokes too about what might be in those files when they come out. He said we’re getting closer to finding out what the president knew and how old these women were when he knew it. The host also brought up Elon Musk coming back to the White House after he left in May. Kimmel compared their friendship to a Cybertruck, saying it’s cold one minute and on fire the next.
Trump has tried to get Kimmel kicked off TV before. Earlier this year, he got really upset about what Kimmel said regarding Charlie Kirk’s shooting death. Kimmel’s show got suspended for a bit, and the FCC Chairman even said ABC could lose its license if they didn’t hold Kimmel accountable. A lot of famous people and media folks got angry about the suspension and spoke out against it.
Kimmel hasn’t stopped making jokes about Trump though. Earlier this week, he talked about how Trump yelled at a woman reporter and called her a piggy. Kimmel said that Trump gets really angry whenever someone asks him about Jeffrey Epstein. He also pointed out how crazy it is that Trump would talk to a reporter like that.
