Guerrilla Games has now given more information about the machines and animals that will populate the world of Horizon: Zero Dawn. There are a lot of things roaming the land and not all of them are friendly.

The game’s director, Mathijs de Jonge, answered many fan questions about Horizon: Zero Dawn. It sounds like a game where you have to watch your back all of the time.

Jonge confirmed on Twitter that “all machines are dangerous, the corrupted even more so.” He later confirmed that “the tribes live in relatively safe settlements, but they don’t have much choice, the machines are too plentyful & dangerous.

Basically, the humans are pretty much stuck in a world that is rife with machines trying to kill them all of the time. There won’t be any “friendly” machines so the humans must do what they can in order to survive each and every day.

The world of Horizon: Zero Dawn is not just littered with only deadly machines either. There are animals in the game too and players can hunt for various types. The types of animals in the game as confirmed by Jonge are “geese, boars, rabbits, fish, and more..“. Hunting animals can be used for things such as food, trading and crafting.
