Monster Hunter fans got a taste of the franchise’s future with the reveal and demonstration of Monster Hunter: World at E3 2017 earlier this week, and now it looks like we’ll get to have an even greater taste as the off-screen recording of the behind closed doors presentation for the game has been leaked online.

The 22-minute presentation for Monster Hunter: World appeared on Chinese video sharing website Bilibili. It should be noted that the video was shot from an off-screen angle and the quality isn’t all too good, however, it does provide viewers with a chance to see more of the upcoming title.

Monster Hunter: World, directed by Kaname Fujioka and Yuya Tokuda, is set to be the next mainline entry in the series. Unfortunately for Nintendo fans who have long enjoyed exclusive access to the series since its introduction to said family of consoles in 2009, World will only be available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, thus leaving them more than a little annoyed with Capcom. However, deciding to forgo Nintendo exclusivity and bring the series to a wider audience could be the “necessary evil” need for Capcom to make the series more recognizable and popular in the West where it has failed to find a solid foothold.

Monster Hunter: World is set for a worldwide in early 2018. The PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions will arrive first, while the PC version will arrive some time after.
