Hot Toys has announced that it is redesigning its Hulkbuster figurine so that you can fit an actual Iron Man inside of it.
Hot Toys announced on Facebook that the new Hulkbuster will be more movie accurate than ever before. If you already own an Iron Man figurine, he will be able to fit inside of the Hulkbuster.
It’s worth mentioning the Iron Man figure is not included. The new Hulkbuster toy is set to be huge because the Iron Man figure stands at around 12 inches by itself.
Here are the changes made: “Metal joints implementation in various parts of the inner frame; an all-new retracting helmet design so it is no longer needed to swap out the part and able to display the armor in different stages of suiting up, and updated gauntlet designs which further recreate the movie-accurate and highly detailed mechanical design of the gigantic machine’s powerful arm!”
Sadly this means the Hulkbuster toy has been delayed. You won’t be able to get the figure until Q2 2017. The original design would have been out already, so you have to wait another year for your figure to come.
