A new gameplay trailer coming out of San Diego Comic-Con has fully revealed Starfire. She was announced as part of DLC Fighter Pack 1 along with Red Hood and Sub-Zero but we haven’t received a good look at her gameplay or abilities until today.

Her description reads: “As the next Queen of Tamaran, Princess Koriand’r found herself the victim of her fratricidal sister’s vengeful plot that resulted in their planet being conquered. Now a royal exile on Earth, Koriand’r uses her ability to absorb and convert ultraviolet energy as Starfire.”

Starfire is set to release next month and will be voiced by VA Kari Wahlgren, who lended her vocals to Starfire in the 2016 animated movie Justice League vs. Teen Titans. . Those wishing to purchase the DLC pack can do so for $19.99 on Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

NetherRealm’s Ed Boon also teased an upcoming announcement for the next fighter pack. “Of all the characters we’re going to reveal, we’ll have the biggest ‘wow’ for the last one we’re going to show.”

Injustice 2 launched on May 16, 2017 and takes place within an alternative dystopian universe. After Superman’s defeat in Injustice: Gods Among Us, its up to Batman and his friends to stop new threats attempting to take over the world. It includes dozens of new and returning DC characters.
