The Amazing Spider-Man will be at E3 2017, according to Insomniac Games who confirmed that the game will indeed make an appearance at the show.  After announcing the game at E3 2016 with an incredible trailer that showcased the game as an open world adventure title with incredible visuals, not much has been heard about it since.

“It’s true.  We’re bringing Spider-Man PS4 to E3 next week!,” reads a tweet from the developer.

Spider-Man has seen a number of video game entries in the last decade.  Some have been better than others, but none have looked as good in motion as what we saw from the trailer last year.  An open-world title, this Spider-Man game for PS4 is said to be neither tied to any stories in the comic book or movies.

Insomniac Games was once closely associated with Sony because of their work on the Ratchet & Clank and Resistance games,  it was a good get for PlayStation fans to hear that the developer would once again be creating exclusively for the PlayStation 4 after a stint that saw them working as a multiplatform developer.  Insomniac developed the well recieved Sunset Overdrive for the Xbox One early in its life-cycle, but has yet to make anything else exclusive for the platform.

Numerous sources say that the game will be ready for a 2017 release, and we’ve yet to hear of any delays on the project so a look at something more representative of the final product is what we should see at the show.

The PlayStation press conference on Monday night should be the spot to look for our first signs of Spider-Man.
