Last year saw the release of all three episodes of Life is Strange: Before the Storm, the prequel to 2015’s surprise hit Life is Strange. Earlier this month, the game’s bonus episode, “Farewell,” was released alongside physical copies of the game. Now, with the full game’s development finished, it will be coming to more platforms.

It was announced earlier today (March 14) that publisher Feral Interactive has been working on Mac and Linux ports of Life is Strange: Before the Storm, which are tentatively scheduled for release this spring. Feral Interactive has worked in the past on ports for such games as Bioshock RemasteredTomb Raider and the original Life is Strange, among many others. Managing Director of Feral Interactive, David Stephen, states, “The atmospheric soundtrack, sharp writing and captivating story [of Life is Strange: Before the Storm] combine to create an engrossing and moving game, and we very are excited for macOS and Linux players to experience it.”

Additionally, Feral Interactive will be bringing the Deluxe Edition of Life is Strange: Before the Storm to Mac and Linux, which includes a Mixtape Mode, bonus outfits and the “Farewell” bonus episode. An exact price point and system requirements for each version will be revealed closer to these ports’ releases.
