Today peripheral make Mad Catz announced that their Anroid-based micro-console will arrive this December. Throwing their hat in the ring with the likes of Ouya and Gamestick, this new console allows players to purchase and play games from the Android store of your choosing. This means that players can choose from thousands of games on the Google Play, Tegra Zone, Amazon, or other online storefronts when looking for new games to play.
The console features a 1.8 GHz NVIDIA Tegra 4 mobile processor with 16 GB of built-in storage, and a microSD slot that allows for up to 128 GB of additional capacity. The console will feature Android 4.2.2 Operating system out of the gate.
Being that Mad Catz has been making controllers for a while now, they also boast on the system’s “GameSmart C.T.R.L.R.”, the company’s wireless gamepad which offers players on the system a controller that will feel similar to a console-style controller that many are used to.
The Mad Catz M.O.J.O. will arrive this December for $249.99
