Majora’s Mask New 3DS XL Available Online Right Now – Update

Target currently is taking orders for Limited Edition Majora’s Mask versions of the New Nintendo 3DS XL. The page went up a few minutes ago, and stock seems to be holding out so far. There is no way to know how many of the ultra rare handhelds Target has to sell, but it is probably not enough to meet the entire demand. If you have been trying to get one of the Majora’s Mask themed systems then now is likely your last chance.

The extremely low stock of this system has caused scalpers to take control of the market. Majora’s Mask New 3DS XL’s have been selling for much higher than MSRP on eBay and Amazon, leading to frustration from fans. Hopefully this indicates that stocks are actually higher than originally anticipated, and Zelda fans will be able to get the limited edition release.

Some important considerations: the New Nintendo 3DS XL does not include an AC adapter, so either buy a new one or keep your old if you already had a 3DS. Also, while this system is themed after the game, it does not include a copy of The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D. You’ll have to buy one separately to enjoy the game.
