Marvel’s Avengers has been one of the most anticipated games for a lot of people for awhile now, especially after the success of Marvel’s Spider-Man last year. That is why Square Enix chose to close out their first live E3 conference in a number of years with the game, where they revealed one platform will have some exclusive benefits over the others.
Near the end of the presentation involving Marvel’s Avengers, it was revealed that PS4 owners will receive some sort of unique benefits involved with the game, though they did not go into details about that would mean. However, they did go a step further to reveal that PS4 owners will have early beta access to the game when the beta is ready to go.
The term unique benefits is definitely different from the usual terminology of “exclusive content,” so you have to wonder what they mean. This partnership between Square Enix and Sony is nothing we haven’t seen before in a game like this, as games like Destiny and such have had plenty of exclusive content.
With the way Marvel’s Avengers is setup, it’s likely that these unique benefits could be in the form of different costumes or something, but we’ll have to wait and see what Square Enix has up their sleeve closer to the release of the game on May 15, 2020.
