Mass Effect 2: Arrival has been a tease that has more than worn out it’s welcome in my book.  But between the leaflets, rumors, trophy glitches, and Chinese water torture we’ve finally got a confirmed date on Mass Effect 2’s next chapter, and more importantly the chapter that bridges the gap between Mass Effect 2 and Mass Effect 3.

The Arrival DLC has Commander Shepard traveling to edge of the galaxy in order to recover an important asset.  This asset is an operative with information on the imminent Reaper invasion.

The Arrival is going to set you back 560 Microsoft Points, or $6.99 if you play on other platforms.  While your at, you’ll earn three new trophies or achievements in the DLC.  While the details are sparse at this time, our very own John Kirby donned his sleuthing attire to take a few stabs at what to expect from the DLC, so far he’s one for one.
