Following an online leak of the Mass Effect 3 plotline, Bioware has revealed that the story may see considerable changes before the official release in March. Â The game’s script which leaked just a few weeks ago, hasn’t been a completely negative experience for Bioware. Â Company founders Ray Muzyka and Greg Zeschuk believe that the leak definitely gives their game increased interest.
But, Long time fans who couldn’t resist the opportunity to read the script have been at odds with how Bioware has the story of Commander Shepard playing out.  Though Muzyka notes that the script has already seen changes and edits from what popped up online in the early Mass Effect build that accidentally hit Xbox Live.
Muzyka recently told Eurogamer:
“It was disappointing for them, yeah. They’re moving on. They’re making a great game. The script, frankly, has changed a little bit from what was released, too. It’s been edited. They’re always tuning it. They’re always making it better. But yeah, it’s tough when you see your work displayed. You realise only a small number of people are probably going to look at those spoilers in advance.
“It is hard on a team when they see their work revealed in an early form like that. It was a pre-release demo. The script was certainly not intended to be released in that form and that early. Here it is! It’s not even out yet, but you can read through it. It’s a summary.”
The final chapter in the Mass Effect trilogy hits consoles and PC on March 6th, 2012.
