Over the course of Mass Effect: Andromeda’s marketing cycle we’ve slowly but surely gotten new pieces of information regarding the game’s voice cast, though today BioWare has revealed that a major actor will be featured in the game. The actor in question is Natalie Dormer, who is most known for her role in the popular TV series Game of Thrones.
This was revealed in a new video that BioWare posted today, which reveals that Dormer will be voicing the character Dr Lexi T’Perro. She won’t be the only Game of Thrones actor that will be lending their voice work to the game, however, as she will be joined by Gethin Anthony. In the video featured below, Dormer discusses reuniting with Gethin while working on this game, saying “I had a bit of a moment earlier when Gethin Anthony’s voice came in over across my [headphones]. It’s kind of a weird one, hearing Renly Baratheon and Margaery Tyrell in different guises.”
The announcement of Natalie Dormer being in the game isn’t the only thing BioWare released today, as they also shared a new gameplay video. This one is the second part in an ongoing series, and it focuses on the game’s character customization. You can check out that video at the bottom of this post. The first video in the series focused entirely on the game’s combat system, which you can check out by clicking right here.
Mass Effect: Andromeda will launch for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on March 21st, marking the return of the series following the conclusion of the original trilogy. It was recently revealed that BioWare has teamed up with Cards Against Humanity for the Mass Effect Pack. It will only be available for a limited time and costs just $1, so if you’re interested you can click right here to learn more.
