Michigan woman says she was complaining about how unaffordable it is to live in the state, then a ‘MAGA Republican’ offered her a suggestion

A Michigan woman shared her story about discussing her financial challenges while living in the state. In her video, she said that when she complained to her friend about how “unaffordable” it is to live in Michigan, a person she described as a “MAGA Republican” suggested she work harder. The woman, in her video, said that’s not an issue and described the challenges she has faced while living in Michigan despite her efforts.

According to her, she was with her friend in a public place when she complained about how unaffordable it is to live in the state. Apparently, the person she referred to as a “MAGA Republican” overheard their conversation and then said, “Oh, well, you just need to work harder. You should just get a higher-paying job. Maybe you should have went to school, and then you would have had more money, and then you could stop complaining.”

It appears that this wasn’t the issue for this woman, as she claimed about going to school and having a degree. According to her, the issue was her wage and similar factors, as she said, “I’m sorry, but that’s not the issue. I did go to school, I did get a degree, and I’m still getting paid the bare minimum. The issue is in our wages, it’s in the cost of living, it’s in the affordability.” She also stated that the policies from “national government” aren’t fixing her condition.
