The release of Gears of War 4 is very close, but we’re still set to be getting more footage from the game prior to its release. Microsoft has just announced that they will be hosting a live event for the game next month, where they will be showing off brand new gameplay and share more details about the game.
The livestream is set to begin on October 5th at 3 PM PT / 6 PM ET, with viewers apparently being able to win things throughout the stream. There will also be special appearances during the stream, but other than that that’s really all the information we have. The event is simply called Gears of War 4 Live.
The upcoming game recently went gold and released a launch trailer that showed off new footage. Like in typical Gears of War fashion, the trailer is very dramatic and even features a cover of a Metallica song. You can check that out by clicking right here.
Gears of War 4 will launch on October 11th for Xbox One and PC, and is also an Xbox Play Anywhere title. However, those who purchase the Ultimate Edition will be able to start playing on October 7th. Check out the Gears of War 4 live announcement video below.
