The costume designer for Batman vs Superman, Michael Wilkinson, spoke about one scene in the movie to clarify what is exactly going on.

If you are sensitive over spoilers, don’t read on. If you don’t care, you will get an idea on what is going on in a scene that we have seen in the Batman vs Superman trailers.

Remember the scene in the trailers where we see Batman in the desert being captured by Superman? As reported by Heroic Hollywood, Wilkinson spoke at the Comic Con Experience 2015 in Brazil to explain what is exactly happening there.

As predicted by many fans, Wilkinson confirms that scene is a nightmare that Batman/Bruce Wayne has of a future if Superman turned evil. Wilkinson said Zack Snyder described the scene as if it was like Mad Max. Batman has a fear of what the end of the world will be like if Superman took over.

As the recent Batman vs Superman trailer showed, Wayne does not like the fact that the Daily Planet labels Superman as some kind of hero. Wayne is scared that Superman has a hidden agenda. He also hates the fact that Superman did a poor job of saving people when he fought General Zod.
