The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 season of content is coming to a close after next month’s “Final Assault” collection. The Final Assault DLC for Modern Warfare 3 includes five new multiplayer maps, two of which had been previously released to Call of Duty: Elite subscribers.
In September, Xbox 360 Elite subscribers will see three new multiplayer maps arriving in the final three content drops for the game. Boardwalk, Gulch, and Parish will round out a healthy year of content for Modern Warfare 3. Elite subscribers will get access to the final maps on September 5th. On September 6th, all Xbox 360 players will be able to download Content Collection #4 “Final Assault”, and it includes the three aforementioned maps, as well as Decommission and Offshore which released in August.
As for PlayStation 3 Call of Duty players, September will see content that is lagging one month behind the Xbox 360. PS3 Elite subscribers will get their crack at “Chaos Mode” as well as a couple of new special-ops missions.
