We’ve been keeping tabs on the upcoming expansion of Mount & Blade Warband, Viking Conquest, which you can read more about here in our first look and here where we go into more detail on the new features. It looks to be an exciting addition to the Mount & Blade series, unfortunately up till now, we haven’t had any indication of when the official release date was going to be.
Taleworlds Entertainment, the developers of Mount & Blade, have thus dropped upon us a live-action trailer and the fact that Viking Conquest will be released less than a week from now on the 11th of December. You will be able to pre-order the game from Taleworlds themselves, Steam, GOG, Gamersgate and Humble Store.
Mount & Blade Warband Viking Conquest is an expansion of the original Mount & Blade Warband. It is also the successor to the highly regarded Brytenwalda mod and being developed by the makers of said mod. Viking Conquest is set in 7th century northern Europe where you will encounter Vikings and all matters of historical people. You will determine your own path in the world through fighting, trading, sailing, exploring and perhaps creating your own kingdom!
Mount & Blade Warband Viking Conquest is set to be released for PCs on the 11th of December.
