New This Week in Video Games (6/26 – 7/2)

The summer is definitely filled with plenty of dead weeks, but this one is not one of them as we have a good number of games releasing across most every system.

LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens is the biggest release of the week, which looks to recreate the events of the record breaking film in full for the first time in game form, as the Disney Infinity 3.0 playset was very bare bones.

Also releasing on Tuesday are a number of other games in retail, including the latest Star Ocean, The Technomancer, Resident Evil 5 HD, and a few others, not to mention the number of digital offerings.

The rest of the week also has other digital offerings for different platforms, though the PC picking are rather slim.
