A FedEx driver recently had an unexpected guest jump into his truck, and the whole thing was caught on camera. TikTok user @jezzyvi shared a video that has gotten over 235,000 views in just a few days. The clip shows exactly what happens when a dog decides to become a delivery co-pilot.
According to Motor1, the driver was heading up a driveway in a rural area when he started filming. He told his followers, “You know when you guys ask me if dogs ever jump in my truck? Yeah, it looks like this.” Right after that, a white Labrador came running toward the truck at full speed with its tail wagging like crazy.
The dog didn’t think twice and jumped straight into the cab. “Oh, hey, bud. Hey, bud,” the driver said as the excited pup wiggled around in the truck. Things got chaotic fast when the dog spotted items on the dashboard. The driver started laughing as the Labrador grabbed his things. “That’s my stuff!” he said. “That’s my wallet and my sunglasses and all my treats. He’s stealing all my things!”
The Labrador immediately went for the driver’s personal belongings
The dog then tried to check out the cargo area in the back. “Bro, bro, chill,” the driver said. “Can’t go back there.” While delivery drivers often face unexpected situations on the job, alleged scams involving surprise charges can make their work even more challenging.
They finally reached the delivery spot near a blue lake. “Alright, we’re here,” the driver told the dog. “Help me find your package, man.” The Labrador took this seriously and grabbed the delivery box with its mouth. The driver joked that he couldn’t do much since he wasn’t supposed to leave the truck. “That’s not my problem at this point,” he said. “This good boy will eat anything.”
When the dog started walking away with the package still in its mouth, the driver threw it a treat to get it distracted. “Okay, I feel bad. I gotta distract him. Here, treat. Leave the poor box alone,” he said. He wrote in the video caption that there “Ain’t enough treats in the world to subdue him.”
People in the comments loved the video. “Just a labrador labradoing what they labradooo,” one person wrote. “The way he was wagging his whole body with happiness 🥹 I love them too much,” another comment read. The wholesome moment had fans reacting much like the time a baby seal made a surprise visit to a New Zealand bar.
